Testimonials

"Thank you to Adirondack Truck & Mobility! You not only installed my left-footed gas pedal, you also made sure I received my reimbursement through Honda's Mobility Program. Now I drive with less pain ... which is really important in sales! "

"We picked up our 2011 Chrysler Town and Country Amerivan on a snowy late February morning. This was our third van that we had converted and outfitted by Jim, or his father, so Kevin could drive.  We had complete confidence that the details would all be taken care of and our new van would serve us well, as each of the two previous vans had.

The Amerivan conversion met all of our needs and the special seat, secondary controls and other modifications that Jim provided were perfect. Once we decided to buy a new van, Kevin worked with Jim on the modifications he would need. As technology improves, so does the type of equipment available to the disabled driver.

Jim pointed out new devices and ways for us to improve on our initial ideas and make things easier and more affordable for us. For example, a factory-installed push button ignition saved us from having to add an after-market push button start. So we included that on our list of “must-haves” for the Chrysler dealer. From modifying the switches on the six-way power seat so Kevin could operate them, right down to programming Kevin’s cellular phone and linking it to the U-Connect system in the van, all details were taken care of.

We are delighted with the level of customer service Jim provides at Adirondack Truck and Mobility and can enthusiastically recommend him to anyone who needs to have work done on a vehicle to conquer mobility issues for drivers and their traveling companions.  He is a wonderful resource for family members and makes great suggestions on what will work best for an individual given his years of experience in the business.
